T I N Y Builds A TRX-4M F-150...

Up next to help the color combo...White wagon wheels!
I got the replacement links. I thought the front links would be the same as the other TRX-4M's, but they're not. They're longer. And they have the same offset as the stock links. So I put the new links together and stuck them on. I then proceeded to lose one of the wheel "Lug" nuts. LOL. So, what a time to upgrade to the new Injora "center cap"-looking lug nuts. I also ordered the center rings for the wheels that will fit the stock Traxxas tires.

I checked the mailbox. I got the wheels. I had to order a hex that'll fit these screws. But I've put one on a tire just as a mockup. They're going to work out nicely. Tell me what ya think about the wagon wheels. I think they really set off the colors of the body.

Really sets off the two tone, actually all the white on your rig pops with those.

Big "yes" to the wagons. Either of those styles work very well but the white brings it all together. Always cool to steer away from what others have straight out of the box.

There appears to be a rough finish on the top of the dash and the steering wheel, likely due to the printing process. I'm just going to use a high-grit sandpaper and smooth it out a bit.
OK, Opinions Wanted... I've shown this 1:18 scale '59 Chevy wagon in this thread before. Now I'm going to show you in more detail. I have this idea to make it into a "Trailer Queen" to pull behind my TRX-4M. The only "problem" I have is that it's purple and a rare car. If you look it up on eBay, it's worth over $100. However, mine, which sat near a window and was exposed to the sun, has faded on the graphics. So it's not worth the money they want for them. SO..... why not make it more suitable and match the truck a bit. I plan to paint the car to match the truck. Same blue and white combo. car blue and roof white. Then get some other kind of graphics. I'll for sure get some white pinstriping to put back on it. All the parts that come off are stuck through the body and then melted to stay attached. So a junk tip on my soldering iron and melt them, then take the parts off. Then, when reassembling, melt them back on or just glue them in place. SO, should I "ruin" this car and go through with my idea, or find something else to mess with? There was a gentleman who offered to trade me a 1:18 RC for it, but I wasn't interested at the time. Now I'm thinking about it. Please let me know what ya think, guys and gals. Thanks!

Here's my opinion; if there is value there to be extracted, more value then it brings you in return I would sell it.
Find something that has less retained value and paint it to match, like a Revell model or something.

I mean... if you know that you don't want to hassle with listing/ shipping it and assuming it wouldn't bring much money to do so, I might use it in the way that you're describing. If there's a chance that you might be able to get some kind of decent return and that you'd actually list and sell then I'd scrap the idea of using it. Also relative to this would be "What other vehicle do you have that you could fit onto that trailer?" If you don't have anything else that appeals to you or if you'd have to spend money on something then maybe just go with your idea.
On e thing that may be worth considering also, is how you plan on securing this ( or whatever other vehicle) to the trailer... assuming that you plan to actually use the trailer and that it's not simply going to be a static display. Some vehicles/ trailers are easier to work with than others regarding securing/ tying down and also how easily it will be to remove.
I recently built a 1/10 trailer that is to accommodate a TF2 as well as a Capra and there was a good deal of thought that went into being able to have it hold two very different vehicles as well as how easily they would be to swap out. In your case I'd guess that's not as much of an issue since the car isn't RC but just food for thought.
