Tapped-out's 5th Dimension Sucker Punch

I wasn't feeling the delrin rear links, so I bent up these rear ti-links. Also bent the front links to shorten them a bit.
Ride height:
front skid link bolt. 2 5/8"
Rear skid link bolt. 3 1/16"

That link setup looks much better. I'm especially liking the front bends. "thumbsup"

Damn! She's sitting all stink bug style like a 72' Nova my uncle had.

Lookin good Martin. I agree wit Ev. My current bias is actually right on the lower link end themselves & she feels good there. Of course other factors go into where a good bias is for a rig so you may find that you like it further forward or further back.

So looking @ other builds I think I'll have the heaviest 2.2s rig @ nats weighing in @ 4lbs 11oz she is FAT.

4lb 11 oz?? It does look like it should be lighter than that? Maybe the DH2 at the front....

It should be the Rig without wheels, tires, foams, KW is 2 lbs 8 oz.
Those wheels and tires must weigh in @ 2 lbs 3 oz..
At the very least rig should stay planted on the rocks ???
My next hop-up to this rig will be KW & wheels.

I picked these wheels(Negative space) up from Travis @ 5th Dimension this is the g10 version very clean cuts.Travis also offers this wheel with a titanium center. It's a very light wheel weighs in @ .5oz I can't wait to get the rest of my parts to mount these wheels for WCRCC season # 3 starting in Oct.
Parts needed VP hubs,CI comp cut foams, wheel weights.

Looking good buddy. Glad to see your finally swapping out the DH's. I know JD snapped a set of these in the 1/16" version. It looks like your center section may be thicker? Hopefully they hold up but Im skerd for ya. :???:

Don't be skerd... Well see @ our season opener how the hold up..
Plus boosted4life is running these same wheels @ nats next Fri...
Hell I've been skerd of CF For yrs... That's why I'm still running my VP DH wheels.
Time will tell.

They're fine. I've beat the shit outta them. Had a few good falls got tire wedged in cracke and rig fall away from it binding it up pretty badly, and no failures yet.

Ya I've never been known to baby my trucks, and I promised Travis I'd "test" these. The last time I promised that I slapped in 4s and snapped a chassis in half, but that's why he has me run em through the ringer. To make sure they're good to go when he does start selling them"thumbsup"
