On a good note I am a few steps closer to building an scx10...thanks to Rock-Hopper

Got some 1.9 wheels and tires and scx10 shocks.

All I need is a chassis and body and build me some links. Found me a new Deadbolt body for $40 Shipped...Might have to take it but would like one used

Don't think the rainbow loop would be the same..all the climbs you bo going up..would all be bown hills..the other side where we come down...doesn't really have climbs.. I d k... think it would be all down hill.

I see your point, basically that place is an up hill to the top and then back down so if you look at it crawling up the way we normally go down you're looking at crawling up a rocky wash.

However......

What if we took the normal route up then when we come out onto the fire road and go up instead we head down and hit the crater then go east and climb back up around the east side toward widowmaker?

I tried to map out our normal run but I added hitting the crater on the way back.

There's a pretty cool spot we haven't tried, it's a loop on a cliff with some downhill, kind of fun on a mountain bike, might be worth a try with the crawlers.
