TF2 SWB YJ project

I've got a bunch of these letters so I'll use this set to play around until I get it right. They actually stick pretty well after being removed. Here is a pic of them now but keep in mind they are just lightly applied and not lined up yet. Once I get the look I want I'll use some fine line tape to lay them out properly. What do you think? I think the spacing looks good and if I come just a little further back towards the firewall or basically center it up it would like right.

OLD

I also have the lettering to do it in "Renegade" like these.

That's a fine looking Jerp, sir. Spacing doesn't seem quite right, and I'd stick with Wrangler.

Re: TF2 SWB YJ project - Now with K44's

Good stuff, sir. Looks like the lettering should be centered between the latch and the back edge of the hood (or bonnet, as the Brits would say). Something like these:

Thanks for the pics! I was surprised at how hard it is to find good pics of YJ's with Wrangler decals. I've got a bunch of those letters so I think I'll try to lay it out again. The hardest part is getting the spacing right. I've got a couple of new things I've added to the Jeep so I'll post some pics later today.

Not sure if this will work, but I think it would be worth a shot. Try lining up the lettering on the sticky side of a post-it, with the non-adhesive side of the letters facing the post-it. You could mark your beginning and end (i.e., total width for the word) on the post-it (just below the adhesive, for example) and then line the letters up with the right spacing in between. Then, when you have the alignment right, you can use the post-it to transfer all of the letters at once by pressing the whole thing against the hood and slowly peeling back the post-it. They should transfer pretty easily assuming the adhesive on the letters is stronger than the adhesive on the post-it (which it should be). Make sense?

Here are the few additions I've done. I picked up a set of the 1.55 Gearhead BL's and Growlers. I also added some rc4wd sliders and some scale hardware to the axles. The M1.5 x 4mm bolts fit perfectly one my K44's and D44's. Check out the pics...

Here are the D44's on my scx

Really like how this turned out!!

I'm running the same tires and axles on mine:
