Yes, I'm kissing my own ass with that title, but I think it's deserved. I've spent over a year tuning this vehicle and I've finally got it just right.

I have done so much to this vehicle to improve it from its stock configuration. It's hard to know where to begin. I'll just add to the list of mods as I remember things I've done to it:

Engine
- Replaced stock SH .07 engine that had a defective pullstarter design with a Picco P-0 .08 engine. (35,000rpm -- VTEC just kicked in, yo)
- Ported and polished the cylinder sleeve.
- Beveled and polished the conrod.
- Cross-drilled and shaved the clutch shoes, and switched to higher-quality clutch springs.
- Designed and built a custom exhaust silencer, including an adjustable pressure-bleed valve to keep fuel trims correct despite increased exhaust backpressure.

Here's a pic of the Picco P-0 .08 sitting next to a Losi .21 and an HPI .18, for scale. This engine is seriously tiny.

Drivetrain
- Replaced stock differentials with sealed differentials from the Kyosho Mini Inferno ST. (these were harder than hell to find)
- Replaced all stock bearings with Boca ceramic bearings.

Chassis
- Replaced stock 3-mount-hole chassis plate with older 4-mount-hole chassis plate so aftermarket engines could be used.
- Replaced stock hubs and caster blocks with 3Racing aluminum parts for the Kyosho Mini Inferno.
- Replaced stock swaybars and retaining plates with 3Racing swaybars for the Kyosho Mini Inferno. (3/3 stiffness in front, 1/3 stiffness in rear)
- Replaced stock plastic shocks with factory aluminum upgrades.
- Replaced stock plastic shock towers with factory carbon-fiber upgrades.
- Replaced stock plastic wing mount with GPM aluminum wing mount for the Kyosho Mini Inferno.

Electronics
- Replaced stock radio with Spektrum SR201.
- Replaced stock servos with Hitec HS-5055MG servos.
- Cut and re-soldered the wiring inside the radio box to minimize clutter.

Wheels
- Replaced stock yellow plastic wheels and pin-tread tires with HPI six-spoke wheels and Pirelli rally tires.

Not that interesting, huh?

Pretty cool.

This is a crawler forum so go fast nitro stuff is very little of what we talk about or build.

There are also some amazing builds and builders.

Good job on the engine mods, but you've replaced almost the whole buggy !
