the new Tamiya XV-01 rally car chassis!

Looks like everything is sealed pretty well on it. Does the kit come with aluminum shocks, the plastic CVA's or the friction dampers? The pics show aluminum ones, but Tamiya's video show black plastic.

Probably one of the differences between the pro kit and the regular kit.

Website says oil shocks. CVA for the regular kit. ALuminium TRF for the Pro. Definately no Friction.

The Tamiya DF03RA wheelbase is listed at 272mm and shares the same body, so I am assuming the wheelbase will be pretty close to the same...

Edit: The DF03RA comes with two sets of rear A-arms, some for the 272mm wheelbase and some for a 251mm wheelbase. I will have to go measure the wheelbase on my 2008 Subaru Impreza STi body. "thumbsup"

DF03 (buggy) is probably 272. DF03RA is definately sandard touring car - 255-257. They shortened the position of the arms to give it a educed wheelbase from the Buggy, hence the angled dogones that wear too quickly. At least the XV-01 is a purpose built chassis. Would love to see pics of the TT01 at 272. Can't say I've heard of that existing.
