The Right Way to Build a Dodge

Haha, no. I wish it was tho. That is a company project truck forr a company in Lakeland, Florida. They build some of the trucks that are in the Trucks Gone Wild series.(big a** trucks)"thumbsup"

How much more pwoer do you want man? He's roasting 50"+ tractor tires.

Justin
anything with the right gearing can roast tires. that truck has mabey 500 at the wheels. not much for what can actaully be done with a cummins. we have a few here that are well over 1000 at the wheels. saw the build of that truck, very nice but indeed it needs more power

Hey Justin I though maybe a guy known on RCC as bigdodge88 might just have a big a** truck like that."thumbsup" Norm

Yeah, i'm working on one. I have an '88 Dodge Power Ram that has 33's on it. But I have plans for 2 1/2 ton Rockwells and 53" Michelin ZXL's"thumbsup" Still trying to decide on what engine tho. Either a 440 out of a mobile home or a 12 valve cummins.

not tryin to start an arguement but if the one truck had duals then duals must have been allowed so its the dodge drivers fault he didn't have them. that wasn't a smart decision on his part but then again neither was buyin a dodge.

I would go with the 12V. That is a great power plant with more potential then anything offered up by the Ford or GM side.
common rail all the way. 12v are great because you can make 1500hp no problem but its no way streetable. common rails can make the same ammount and be driven on the road everyday. the guy that does my diesel stuff has an 03 that dynoed 1289 at the wheels and he drove it everyday. they are simply amazing
