The Scale Shop Chassis Build Off Jeep Wrangler YJ

Thanks so much Cory. No body off shots outdoors but I will get you some.

Thanks 4rk

Thanks, I will need a lot of luck with the sick Jeeps that are being produced from the build off!

OK I just got back from the beach and i got 91 very good photos! Of course I will not post ALL 91 here, but here are a few of my favorites.

The ocean was too rough to break out that canoe!!!

WOW dude that is a great shot! Looks so real. This thing came out awesome, this is my Jeep rig of yours to date. Its not over done, simple and looks like something you would really see on the beach. Love the white wheels "thumbsup"

That is killer! It looks so awesome and so damn real. Great work! "thumbsup"

Thanks Mike, it means a lot. I put a lot of work into it in a short amount of time. That is one of my favorite pics too!. Kinda corny to have your own rig as a desktop background but that pic is mine! My brother was here yesterday and asked who's Jeep it was, thinking it was a real Jeep and maybe it belonged to a friend or something.

Beautiful! Man these YJ builds are growing on me, they are so realistic!

Thanks so much guys! I appreciate the kind words.

PS If you are a member of scale4x4 please make sure to vote on the buildoff and your favorite JEEP!!!! Even if it isnt mine, just vote. The more that participate the better!!!

Thanks again

I really like this build. I'm going to have to build one of these Tamiya jeeps for myself. I can't wait to see what you have in store for the original body.

I am going to make one critique, I can't help but think that canoe is too small for 1:10 scale. Otherwise it looks awesome!

Thanks man! you are right about the canoe. Size wise it is more like a Kayak shaped like a canoe!!"thumbsup"

I gotta say man- This thing came out 100% BAD-ASS..!!! I Love all the final detail touches. This is one of only a few of my favorite YJ's on here.. Awesome work..!! If you ever wanna sell it- let me know..! "thumbsup"

WOW!! Thanks man. That is a huge compliment coming from you and honestly it was all your old XC Wranglers that got me into building my first YJ. As for selling it... You got dibs but Id be more interested in trading for one of your rigs!!

Your the man! amazing work

Thanks so much. There are really a lot of sweet Jeeps that were built for this build off!

beautiful jeep... every detail is taken care of..I love it... only thing I would have done different is raised the spare tire a little more and added some bumperetts' instead of a full size bumper.. Real YJ's only came with bumperettes.. then I with have made a hitch with a cargo carrier mounted to it for the cooler... but in all I love the Jeep you did an excelent job!!"thumbsup"

I wheeled this one the other day too and Mike took some nice pics! I had some minor damage though. On one roll over a rock went through the driver's side window and broke the drivers arm. OUCH! Could have used a scale rescue truck!
