Yeah but my beloved RPP gives 10% off and free shipping. Not to be a cheap bastard but it’s closer to $75 vs $95 anywhere else. :/ I was thinking 2200 might be enough. Realistically nobody has driven one so we can’t really know.

RPP's free shipping policy must have changed. Before it was a pretty high number ($150 maybe), but now I see it's on orders of $99 or more which is cool.

On the subject of motors, anyone considered a shorter outrunner with a lot more poles? 1000kV+/- on 3s should do it.


A quick fleaBay search turned up this 35x42mm 14 pole 1000kV motor with a 5mm shaft. Totally doable, IMO.

On the bright side, common 1300-1800mah 3s packs will fit and are usually cheap. The Goldbat brand you mentioned has 2 1500mah 3s packs for $27 on Amazon which would be good for a couple hours of driving.

At 1st, I thought, Capra sounds like the name of a wine cooler, or a vegan purse made of pleather.

Why not follow legacy naming protocol and go with AX-12, SX-10, or something along those lines...

Capra means GOAT!
As in, surefooted on the rocks?
Or, perhaps "greatest of all time"?

I only knew what a Capra was because a game I enjoyed featured the "Capra Demon", which sounds like a pretty badass version of an upgraded kit if they ever want to go with that.
