Just a little tiny rant.

I buy a LOT of stuff here, and you would think I would get used to it. But it absolutely bugs the ever living $hit out me when a person I purchase from deletes the pictures of an item that I just bought, or removes the whole for sale posting.

If you just think about this wouldn't it just seem like your trying to hide something?

A consumer buys on here, only going off a fawking picture. We have to study the frigging picture just to half assure we are making a decent decision. So wouldn't it make sense that after we get the items it would be nice to know we got what we originally saw in the ad. Seems logical to me....

The last two deals I have done on here the ad poster has removed the pics BEFORE I have even gotten the f 'Ing items. We are not talking $20 items.

I'm not here to call people out, and legitimately it just bugs the shizz out of me. As a seller....Courtesy lends itself to leaving an ad untouched and just removing the price and adding the simple word "sold"....hell it's even easier to do.

This should be rule of thumb and common logic.

For this reason I take a screenshot of the sale ad right after I buy something...

I do the same and am trying to make a habit of it actually. Sometimes I'm busy at work though like these last couple and I slip. I know we have to look out for ourselves but I wish people would just sell with integrity and honesty. Maybe I'm asking to much.

... and why is it so difficult to post pictures? Or decent descriptions even?

I love these adds:

scaleframe $20 has skidplate
CAC wheels $150 skidplate $30
MMP$40

But yeah, screenshots. Gives you some proof if they get sketchy and try to change the add.

if the item is sold and paid for ill take down the photo.

i dont want 15 looky lou's asking the same question..you still got this?

its not hard to ask for photo again.

i usually click and save the photo anyway if im buying something.

I always quote the sale post in my first PM to the seller. It ensures both parties have a record of the transaction details.

I too would prefer the original sale post edited to say 'sold' next to the sold item/s but to otherwise leave the details of sale intact. This is also helpful to other buyers and sellers who are trying to get a value of similar items.

I dont understand....if you remove the price and post sold in that place....people wont PM and ask do you still have it, unless they are simple. There is no reason to remove the pic.

I always delete or remove items off my list/thread.

Just a bit nut, I don't like clutter.

It's not clutter if it's useful information though, surely? If not to you, then at least to others looking for the value of similar items in the near future and definitely to the buyer! I say this respectfully, btw - forum text doesn't convey tone entirely clearly!

i do..type in SOLD and remove price.

people dont read!! duh!

i can put no lowball offers..guess what..i get low ball offers.

no pics,no questions if its still avialible.
simple enough.

I leave all my stuff up, pics and prices intact (usually). Its good for reference later on. Rarely get a dumbass latecomer or lowballer. Guess they respect me more. :ror:

Your asking to much, save a damn pic of what you got.

One simple giant may not read and STILL pm you. But you really have a obligation to your purchaser to leave that pic up for reference. This is the price you have to pay to avoid listing on eBay and listing here.

It just makes sense....

my only obligation as a seller is to make shure it gets to the buyer.
asap.

most of my pics are on photobucket anyway..
if the buyer wants to brag about his latest score he should have
saved a pic of what it is he bought.
why blame the seller for the buyer's lack of forsight.

if we depended on the for sale section for "reference pics" we'd all be in trouble..

if ya really wanna gripe about something how about those who dont post pics at all????
