As stated I have dynamite prophet sport charger. Sometime i want to start charging a battery before my wife wakes up nut the loud annoying beeping kind of torques her off if it wakes her up lol... And sometimes I want to charge a battery and let it sit for an hour or so juat doing the "maintain/trickle" charge but it beeps about once a minute or so. My real question is what can i take apart in that darn thing to shut it up. I took it apart once but there was no obvious "speaker" so i put it back together. Sorry for the kind of dumb question and thanks for any info and hopefully there is a solution.

I don't know that particular charger, but I had a similar "problem" with my old LRP charger, so I fitted a switch.

Somewhere inside will be a beeper. These things are are usually black plastic cylinders, about 1/2" diameter and 3/8" tall, with a small hole in one end. It'll have 2 connections, either normal wires or leadouts onto a circuit board.

If it has normal wires, cut one of them and insert a switch.
If it's soldered onto a PCB, cut one of the tracks and insert a switch.

Added a switch means you have the choice of beeper or no beeper. If you never want to use the beeper, just cut and insulate one of the wires.

It'll prolly look similar to this:

That was exactly it hey thatnks guys. Mine was plain sittin and connected to the board so I didn't have a switch choice but I managed to pry it off without causing any damage . Charger works nice and quiet now. Thanks for the pic too. Without that i would of been too unsure of what to pry off"thumbsup"
