actually, I read somewhere on scale4x4 that it is 53 7/16 turns to accomodate for centrifugal lag induced by the main shaft flexing. Also if you set your tlt binder pins to tight on your clod maxx shafts you'll pop the yoke ring off. Just a reminder to use ring and pinion glue.

Are you new? Last time i tried that, i found noone that made a driveshaft adaptor that goes from maxx to clod. Besides, everyone knows its a definite law of the universe that electric stuff cant be connected to gas stuff. It will create a singularity and existence will end as we know it. Most of this is covered in my general theory of crawlativity.

Where C is your personal crawling ability represented in units of goodness. S is your smartness (age), and P is your post count. If C is larger than 30,000, your pretty much instantly an expert. Alright, I'm back. I had to escape the nonsense!
I got to thinking you might want some headroom for your shift point. 52 turns maybe? Thinking when you go do a dig, cause ya know no reverse... You might not want to be in high gear. Guess it depends how big your tires are.

wow, and to think i was spending some quality time in the forsale thread to miss this? TOYO your problem is this. you first need to under stand the difference between fact and fallacy. next you need to really talk to your parts, it works for me. after that sleep on it, then your parts should almost fall together. if not all these theories will just end up confusing you. you know what help for me too? take a long hard shit, that should clear your mind too.

Man what are you talking about everything I have read so far in this thread has been completely enlightening. I now understand why I could never get a very good score at any of the comps Ive been to. I had the shift point on my Continueum Transfunctioner set at 36 turns now that I have heard from these expert I can finally get my P.O.S. to work. Come on 2009 Nationals Im ready and I dont need no stinkin reverse!

why not just put a pneumatic ram under the vehicle with some sort of rudder mechanism to pop your rig off the ground, facing it in the right direction? no need for a dig when you have a pogo.:lol:
