well put, the bastards:ror:

I dont know what thay are doing but i think it gonna use the e maxx tranny, thay made it compact and came out with lower gears for the 2 speed and sealed it up tight did a little searching and I'm gonna use this for my next scale truck. With the one motor plate but I dont think it will be 2.2 cause that would make it top heavy for that scale (super may be but thats no fun)

they might not have an interest in crawlers, but like every other successful cmpany, they have an interest in money
WOW!! Did you ever get that right. I dont know about the rest of you but I'm interested in money. Maybe they weren't interested early on but with the popularity of the crawler hobby they'd be stupid to not to put one out. I'm of the opinion 'the more the better'.

Well as far as Traxxas slapping a new motor and body on a existing platform I dont see that happening. If it is a crawler then it would need straight axles, no other car that they make has axles. If they make it with independent suspension then that is D U M, dumb. I would like to see a Traxxas crawler. They make decent vehicles, I love my Emaxx. The Revo and Slayer are some of the most inovative designs I have ever seen. The Tmaxx was considered "high tech" at its release time. They seem to know how to make a car a big hit. Lots of their parts are found on crawlers of all shapes and sizes. They also seem to be pretty good at making their cars affordable. Now would I buy a Traxxas rock crawler? Probably not, unless it is some sort of genius design that walks over any other crawler out there. But for now I would like to see one.

I do really like Traxxas, but I wouldn't be suprised if it's just an e-slayer... maybe with taller tires for ground clearance...
if that's the case though, the only thing that would make me buy it is if it came with a 1/6 scale HMMWV body... actually, I will probably buy it no matter what it is... unless it's $400+...

and did I mention ? and maybe a little :x for there not being any real info other than some dirty steps... we don't even know how tall those steps are...

maybe those dirty steps are just showing us they are coming out with some tires for crawlers. Since a lot of people use there parts already why not make some tires for the crawler crowd.
