axle shafts, and diff outputs were what I couldn't keep together in my summit.
X2, my dad's summit can't keep a diff together either.

Smaller tires was not something I expected. This may make it a great TTC vehicle.

Traxxas Summit LT. It will be in the March issue of RC Car Action. It crawls and bashes like a champ. It really is a blast. Pro-Line Super Swampers 2.2's are the perfect dual role tires.

Little of topic, but hay MATT thanks for publishing my Crawler in the readers rides section of the DECEMBER issue! The INTEGY CRAWLER!

I'm in love with this set-up. How much do you have to modify to run these tires and wheels and set up? Are those traxxus wheels?
Looks good Matt!
When you get to that true scale build, look me up. I'd love to do some custom tube work for it."thumbsup"
Shon
The process is pretty simple. I will show how to do it in detail in our March issue, but you basically need Traxxas Slayer Pro 4X4 arms, steering links, cantilevers and push rods. The arms need to be modified to work properly and you will need to swap springs and use 14mm hexes. Yes, those are Traxxas rims for the Slayer and Slayer Pro 4X4. The tires and foams have to be modified to work with the rims. I believe these are the best rims to use, but there are other options. Again, I'll show all the little tweaks that need to be donw in our March issue. There are a lot of clearance issues that pop up. Glad you like it. This truck is simply fun. I call it the ultimate RC hybrid.
You're on. I'll have to think of something cool. BTW, one of your parts will be on another project in the March issue.
I've got a summit trans in an SCX-10, I love it.

any vids of it in action ?
a friend of mine put slayer suspension on his summit shortly after the summit came out. it was pretty cool, still not a crawler though.
Traxxas's parts being interchangeable?? To hell you say.. :lmao: They have like 5 or Rc's made out of the exact same parts just in different orders.but used Slayer Pro 4X4 arms, links, etc. There's no real fabrication to be done
