True Crawler scale bead locks

I'd love some more scale, proper looking beadlocks as well. I'm not hung up on only metal wheels though, if Axial actually would have been smart and made their Walker Evans wheels beadlocks then I would be running those right now, but I'm running their 1.9's and will be getting some MTHead rings for them.

I LOVE MTHead's rings. I run them on a couple sets of Axial wheels, my Mayhem Slammerz and a set of Prolines. Get the ones with a million screw holes and they look the best to me. I just caught a clance at LockedUp's new rings on STR and LOVE the scale bolts. Thats the only thing I felt was missing from all the beadlocks available and look forward to seein them in person.

Prolines again, you can kinda see the Mayhems under the rear tire. The Proline rings have since been replaced with some with more screws for looks

Cant beat the price, cant beat the service and cant beat helpin a fellow Scale nut out. If MTHead makes a ring for any set of wheels I own, I will have em!

Yup. His rings make anything look good. I have them on axial 1.9, rc4wd 2.2 predators and soon my 2.2 mayhems

You seem to get it. Simple but scale. Would see them on the trail any given weekend. Hell I even owned a set of custom Avalanche Engineering Trail Ready bead locks on one of my 1:1. The other looks like the MT classic II with functional bead locks.
Send me a pm when the SS are ready.

Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose
They will all be available Friday night.
That goes for the 8 hole wheels, the TR Inspired wheels, the slim rings and the TR Inspired rings... all in what I'm calling an "SS" (super scale) version.
"thumbsup"

Had some fun with Photoshop....

I want these made for us crawlers!!! Doesnt have an outer beadlock ring but I like them for scale builds. Not too sure why they were made for Revos or Tmaxx(s)?

We will be breaking stuff up so people and pick and customize as they need.

The little star nut protectors, will be released a little after the rims. We have new equipment enroute for that project. And will only be able to work on those once the initial stuff is complete.

The rims will come with all the screws to mount a rim.

That's good news.
What size is the hardware?
Now the million dollar question. Will we be getting a scale wheel to go with the scale rings?

Screw size is small, hence scale. :D

But, we will be playing with a bunch of different style. Imagine the prototype picture i showed you earlier with this bead on it.

Just remember less is more sometimes with the face of the wheel design. Keep it simple.
I do like the rings, even though they are more for the power sports and sand rail market. Most interested in the hardware that has the screw protectors.
You could even stick with your bead lock design y'all have become so found of by using the ring on the back only. Just instead of using dimples around the outside of edge of the rim, machine it to look like there is a bead lock ring with small hardware. That would be the best cuz we wouldn't have to deal with all the screws and we get the look plus you have more wheel face to put your center design into.
Just my opinions but I would focus on making the bolt protectors and style of bead lock just stated. John(Mthead) already has the best rings and best prices on that market.
Not sure what designs your after for wheel face but hopefully in the styling of Trail Gear, Walker Evans, KMC, and Robby Gordon. All simple but effective.
Thanks

I love that he'll make custom rings for about any wheel!
Here's my 2.2 Mayhem Double Fatties with MTHead rings on the Left, I really like them! "thumbsup"

I may be missreading the meaning of your sugestion so with all due respect this not just licensed beadlock rings, this is a new wheel system, that has the a 1:1 scale look as well as a quick change tire system, you do not have to remove 20 tiny screws to change tires. These are super easy and fast to mount tires. Its just the initial assembly that takes a few more minutes. There's more suprises yet to come. :ror:

Yeah I got that part about the quick change. And I saw where you said there would be other center face designs. The one pictured is def a sand rail/atv/utv inspired wheel.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful either but OMF is not a big player in the crawler world. They are hardcore with the sand and go fast power sports side of things. The above pictured wheels will be killer for that style especially the EXO. And OMF is known for their rings and adapting them to other manufacturers wheels.
It's exciting that y'all are getting with the actual companies and hope more will jump on the band wagon of licensed parts across the whole spectrum.
Hope y'all are making a huge run on the bolt protectors. They will sell huge. And are y'all planning any 2.2 stuff?
