OK, I have an update. I want to finish up City Slicker before I begin any new projects. I decided how I'm going to mount the roof. I also ordered 32P spur and pinion gears.

OK. I finish painting the roof. Started with a few coats of Spaz Stix prep, many coats of Candy Blue, a bunch of coats of Silver metallic, a few coats of white, and finally a few coats of black.

I bought some 32P spur and pinion gears. Take a look at the difference between the two spur gears.

You could see the diameter and circumference are nearly identical.

The pinon gears. A 13t/32p vs. 16t/48p.

Well, now that I got my gearing installed, I went back to work on the roof. I finished the roof. I have a few dark spots were I went a little heavy with the airbursh.

I added a little window tint to make the rear windows a little darker.

I cut out the lift window with an Exacto knife so I can just lift up the window and insert or remove the body clips with a nose pliers. I would like to make a little scale handle to be able to pull the window out.

I went to Vasquez Rock last Saturday. Ran BA in the morning and City Slicker in the afternoon.

Just for the fun of it. I drove onto a fellow crawler's trailer.

The 32P gearing worked well. I'm happy with the gearing.

I'm running VP 1.9 Methods. The wheels were silver, but I powder coated them chrome. Take a look at post #42.
