Fitted a umg10 body to my trx-4 kit.
Had to move the rear cage higher up on the cabin. Weird any way to have a rollcage that does not sit over the roof at least a bit and with the lightbar front cage i think it looks good.
I also had too cut away a part of the rear shocktowers on the fenders to get the rear cage to go down as low as possible. Made a wooden flatbed instead of the umg10 bed to get i a little lower to. Made a plastic bracket that pinches the framerails to mount the umg10 hinges. In front i just used the umg10 bumber in the stock trx-4 flipped bumber mount and made a custom bracket for the front umg10 body posts. I bought the cab in used painted condition so im planning to repaint it orange. I also plan on mounting som extra lightbuckets in the lightbar mount on the cabin.
I have a set of rc4wd mud basher tires that needs some weights before being installed.
The chassi is almost stock except a 540 can 35t motor with correct timing, 9t pinion and a non

Traxxas bec installed.

Did you have to shorten the wheelbase at all? I looked at the specs of the body and the TRX Sport wheelbase with the intend on someday doing the same and the specs didn't match up.

Thanks. The first set of wheels are som hyrax knockoffs on plastic rims. Got them second hand so dont know where they are from but they are beeing replaced as son as the first rim goes beyond usable. Many cracks in the wheels hexes.
The second set is rc4wd mud basher tires on plastic china rims from Wish.

I havent touched the trx-4 kit in any way other than described. No work on the wheelbase. I considered shortening it but that would mean moving many components on the chassi and i think a shorter wheelbase works lesser god on the rocks than what it has and i didnt know at that time of i would like the body and also wanted to have options bodywise further ahead.
The cage is a bit short but i did what i could with it.
I am considering to cut off the frame like 15mm to ger the rear bumber mount in a bit and get better departure angle but not a must do job.

Sorry for some bad spelling. Im swedish and my swedish autocorrect goes bonkers when i spell in english. I will try to correct the errors.

The biggest mods to fit it as shown in the following pictures is to mount the cage higher on the cabin. It used to sit just under/level with the roof.

Next was to get it as low as possible on the chassi. The front bumber fits perfect in a flipped original bumber mount and when i layed the cabin mm over the bumber the rear cage still needed to come down a bit on the chassi cause it interfered with the rear shockmount/fender so i moved the shocks forward and cut a sektion off the shockmount away.

I wanted him to be seen easily from outside so i choosed colors that would differ him from the body color.
