I'd love to do a 40 build on a MRC but no 1/18 bodies. Tried my old Nikko body - too heavy and probably more like a 1/10th as well.

I'll bet you could do one using the Tamiya body as a basis and put some smaller 1.9 tires on there. It would give it a nice stockish/narrow track look. You can widen the MRC axles pretty easy with the G-Made wideners and get a track that is just a little narrower than TLT axles. It would take some effort to get the wheelbase right and whatnot...but where there is a will, there is a way. :)

Your 1:1 is a nice looking FJ. "thumbsup"
