I've just updated this part and since the old text didn't make a lot of sense anymore, I deleted.
Below is the new information:

This circuit will flash turn signal LEDs on your scaler.
You can connect it to a spare channel or feed it the steering servo signal.

You can choose from normally on turn signal lights or normally off turn signal lights. Just cut the orange wire to go to the other mode! Please insulate the wire ends so nothing bad can happen.

If you have a three-position channel you can connect it to this controller and leave your steering servo plugged into the receiver as normal. Then you can operate the turn signals manually. For automatic operation, just plug the controller in between the receiver and steering servo.

Today I reworked the software on the turn signal controller. The change I made makes it easier to calibrate for center and makes it easier for me to assemble because there is less material needed. That also makes it a little smaller!

So... I am reducing the price on this product. Instead of $30, it is now $25

What I did was make use of the steering servo position that the controller sees when it is powered up for the center calibration. Generally you will have your steering trimmed for center from the last time you used your rig, so most of the time it will be right. If you have just built up your rig and haven't set the steering trim yet, just set it then the next time you power up the system, the turn signal controller will be calibrated too.


** Maybe two people can help me out with a little problem that I have. I have two of the turn signal controllers built the old way (with the manual calibration). I would like to let them go at a discount as they are still very good, just not the latest thing.

Just a suggestion... have you thought about putting an extra 3pins in for a bypass so the servo can be plugged directly in without a Y-cable?

That's a really good idea. Trying to keep the price down as much as possible.
Plus some people don't want to run them on the steering channel so the extra pins wouldn't be needed. Happy to do it on request though.

Yes, I can do that. Just specify normally on or normally off at time of ordering.
