i aint gonna fall for some weak sauce bait and switch tactic where you bring in an unrelated (to my comments) infallible issue to argue over... thats special snowflake sjw intro to logic 101 bullshit.

he admitted to using banned substances (epo, testosterone, cortisone, hgh) AND blood doping for all 7 of his tdf victories. the blood doping wasnt just spinning blood to get a higher o2 content, the guy(s) were having blood transfusions to avoid getting caught for using steroids, the added o2 was just a perk.

heres some of the transcript from when oprah did the interview where lance finally admitted to it all. in case you didnt know...

OW: Did you ever blood dope or use blood transfusions to enhance your cycling performance?
LA: Yes.
OW: Did you ever use any other banned substances like testosterone, cortisone or Human Growth Hormone?
LA: Yes.
OW: Yes or no, in all seven of your Tour de France victories, did you ever take banned substances or blood dope?
LA: Yes.
OW: In your opinion was it humanly possible to win the Tour de France without doping, seven times in a row?
LA: Not in my opinion.
OW: So when did you first start doping?

Meh, he didn't do anything that the next 11 guys under him didn't do. I get it, you don't like the guy for some reason. I don't follow 10 speed racing myself so I don't have much of an opinion on his personal life either. All I'm saying is he did a whole lot of good while lousy rousey did jack squat for anyone but herself. And in the end she didn't do much for herself either. :lol:

imo the press events have been pretty damn entertaining. its all a total cash grab and stupid but i dont think its scripted, and conor is owning floyd. im amazed by the people on fb claiming floyd is getting under conors skin...

love how conor immediately blasts the showtime exec sitting there for turning his mic off at the previous press conference. and then slays floyd over his backpack and its contents. yes it's juvenile and all that... but fun.

I did find it pretty funny Mayweather had $5000 in his backpack. What the heck for? And on stage? Seriously, that makes no sense at all.

And taking pot shots at him not wearing a dumb **** You pinstriped suit while trying to promote his athletic clothing brand at an athletic event? Dumb. Mention his strip club? Dumb.
 
yeah its dumb... especially to string it out like this. and his 'f the mayweathers' crowd chant thing was real shitty, but all the other stuff is total gold to me... i love the **** you pin stripe suit.

i dunno, i hated conor until this stuff, but now i'm kinda changing my mind about him. i would love conor to do to mayweather what nate did to conor the first time around. "thumbsup"

lets not forget that the goat used to be relentless in shit talking his opponents and hyping fights. ;-)

You're reading way too far into it. He's a showman. He gets paid to entertain. And it's not like Mayweather is a stand up individual. **** the Mayweathers!

McGregor is one of the most entertaining UFC fighters of all time. They needed him since the other stars got old.

Plus, he usually backs up his shit talk for the overwhelming majority of his fights. You gotta respect that. The Diaz fights don't count. Conor moved up in weight to fight a much bigger man. And he didn't get embarrassed. He says he'll fight anybody at any time and he also does that. There aren't many modern fighters like him.

Conor doesn't stand a chance beating a pro boxer. But yet he does because it's a fight and more than one great has been knocked out by a lucky haymaker. If it's a typical boxing fight (more man hugs than at a gay bar on a Saturday night) it will suck. If it's a slug fest it will end fast. You know they both have incentives going on behind the scenes.

Conor is an intelligent guy. This fight is his retirement plan. I wouldn't be shocked if he never fought again. I think he will fight again though because he loves it. That's obvious.
 
You know they striped McGregor of one title already? They'll take the other if he doesn't defend the belt real soon. Kind of like he's pulling an Aldo.

I understand how all this works. Been watching it for many years. You got Ali, Mayweather, Diaz bros, Rousey, and now McGregor. There's more, and they all do the same thing, besides get lucky and happen to win. Yeah yeah, skill and born talent and desire to win…

It will be interesting for sure, Connors only chance is a lucky punch..against the best defensive boxer ever, but Mayweather is older and smaller..he is not going to knock Connor out.
I hear PPV is 100$, hope it is a good fight
 
Just watched the New York presser. That was some serious comedy. Mayweather won that one.
