Hello all. I'm new to rc and am looking for my first rig. I love the scale aspec of the rc4wd rigs. But do to a very low funds I'm looking at the venom crawlers any body have any ideas. They seem to be a good entry level crawler with potential
i loved mine, it was also my 1st rig, i bought the creeper kit, ran it as a comp and converted it with a safari chassis, with bumpers, winch, tow hooks, the whole 9-yards
a "scale" rig is what you make of it, theres hardcore scale guys that do interiors and wheel wells and leaf springs, yeaa thats scale but its all what you make of it,
heres my creeper with some chassis and shock location mods to make it more "scale" and just generally crawl better "thumbsup" yeaa whatever it looked like a monster truck scale wise but so what it was awesome it got me hooked to crawling!
i ran 4ws on that rig and i tried full time 4ws too but it gets annoying after some time LOL the traxxas steel yolks and stampede half shafts look really scale i love em and theyre tough as nails!
yeapp im a proline fanboy, lol and no sir most of the monster truck bodies are around 12"-12.5" so it was perfect just had to trim the bumpers a bit short so it would sit snug
