venom creeper a good crawler?

dad said yes,:):), looking on ebay to find one for about $100 or so, print it out, and take it to cyclone and have them match the price, it is the green kit not rtr because i already have good crawling motor and electronics. when i do get it i will make a build thread and put all my mods from my head to the creeper and then to the thread, i may have to what about a few days or a week because i gotta come up with $40 in order to have enough

found the kit for $135 shipped on ebay, shipping takes 3-5 days, 28 days left on it, i will order this week or early next week, cant wait:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

sweet man, just remember to intall the motor right after you finish the trans. "thumbsup" cant wait to see your take on our beloved creepers bro. . . . now where's that build thread "thumbsup"

try to mount it on the links if u use the battery tray for the first few months then get a smaller battery and mount that battery on the front axle.

+1 the 6 cell will work on the stock battery tray but if you plan to do the mods we suggest then that means the stock try goes bye bye. And I can't think of any other place a 6 cell will work at. Run it stock and save up your coin so you can get a good small lipo and then mount it on the axle. You can mount on top of the servo for a cheap way but then try and get yourself a paradox btl plate or the ckrc front servo/battery plate. But I would do the btl plate from RMDW because then you get enormously wide steering angle

You might take a look at CKRC for your kit. They still have them for 99.00. Best deal I have seen! I ordered a kit for parts and they ship very fast- 113 to my door- nice!

one thing ive noticed is if u get the paradox btl plate right o the batt, u can mount a 6cell on that that. the servo is out of the way so the battery will fit right on the axle.

ok...so to get some numbers rolling to see where things wind up in the end I got out the scale and found out some interesting things about your rig bro...

My rig ready to run with the battery on board is 99.2oz
Derreks rig Rtr WITH BAT IS 95.1oz
Daltons rig is 121.6oz RTR

break down...

front wheel/tires combined 38.5oz
rear wheel/tires combined 24oz
Chassis set up witout wheels/tires or battery 44oz
6cell stick pack 15oz

unsure of total rtr weight cuz I dont have the body to compare but you cna figure around 2-3oz for that too.

Im getting ready to cut out all the zip ties and remove all of the electronics and strip down the rig for the rebuild....Ill post up some pics later.

um i think u posted it in the wrong thread bro, but also my wheels alone with out the tires weight 8.44oz and i also have a proven (by proven i mean to me) 8oz extra in each front wheel so i figured my rig was going to weight quite a bite more than any one elses rig.
