What are some decent shocks for a 7.25lb rig.

Gmade XD piggybacks (103mm) are definitely worth a look. They have a functioning overflow reservoir with adjustable oil pressure, which really helps fine tune them for your ride. I run them on an R1 Frankenstein (R1 chassis, Axial axles & tranny), and they're terrific.
