What did you do today?

Finished up the last bit of signage and testing at work to get our pool open. Had to have city inspection done. Had it set for last week but had a part break and needed to shut the pump down. All good, we passed and pools open till Labor Day. lol

Otherwise, I just rolled a fatty of Permanent Market, Yum.

Took the kids to school in truck, switched to the car and packed up the onewheel for assembly as I had an appointment @ 9 to have my windshield tint touched up, (a crease he said) which ended up being a complete replacement and taking till 5 in the evening, which included a 1.5 hour nap in the front lounge, lol, ya, t'was nice! Recharge, is what my man called it!. Got it (onewheel) 95% assembled while there, with the footpad hardware kit, lol, forgot the actual bought replacement kit. Same same length and thread, different threadlock, lol, IDGAF.
Finished it once i got home and had to jump through hoops to figure out how to reset my password in the app to do the new battery. I think it would have been easier to give up my firstborns foreskin than that....registry/blahzeblahblah in the not app, but their "SYSTEM" online deal, and link the two and make sure I didn't steal it. Wow. Slapped the sectional couch piece on and took it for a late "10pm" cruise around the block. LOL, shenanigans, here we go¡!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picked up some brass clamp rings for the front wheels on the Jimmy's buggy. Only about +50gr each, but should help get the front bias i wanted after the test run.

Flowers and plants came in at work yesterday. The guys got most of them planted around the complex, and today I got the rest of the ones done in the planters. Shaping up. Still have 1/2 the complex to mulch that we'll start busting out on Monday and finish up Tuesday I hope.

Yesterday and today, smoked a BUNCH of meat.

Made some quick work with this little hf machine, lol. The box had ARMOR, lol, coating, that and the single sub was just a bit too fat for the box, so some had to be trimmed off to make them plop in without interference. I thought of manually filling at first..... nope. Dropped in the subs, fastened them with some 1' self drilling wood screws.

That belt sander attachment looks awesome!
What size are those, 8"s?

Just finished watching the Spanish GP. Exciting at the end!

Placed 6/8 in C2 lol. 7th and 8th were DNFs so I was the last qualifier. The first section I would've had a good score with only 1 winch, but there was a part on the rocks in between gates 8 and 9 where I repositioned myself to lower ground. I wasn't paying attention and I hit a gate at 9 once I was eye level. The rig performed so good though and I pat myself on the back for it.
As for the 2nd heat/other section, even though we did a walk through of the gates, they seemed more along the lines of C3. I hit gates 3-7, with multiple roll overs from trying to rush so much.
At the end of the day, it's all for the fun and I built a rig that I am completely happy with. I am in love with how it performs and there isn't any brass on it.

Carved out a bit of a road and removed some humps n bumps en route to the "spot" <-where he, my "roomie" wants to build a house/set water tanks for it? ( At the top) On a 12 acre plot he owns, some of which was a former dirt bike track from the 90's.We must have moved at least a ton or two of earth today. Terra-forming, as I'd like to call it, lol, or rough grading if youve been/worked in the landscaping business before.

Had a blast over the weekend, tested the Senton with a stone guard made from an old coffee can ... worked really well and stayed firmly in place throughout the roll-overs and crashes

Speaking of crashes, did suffer a broken front bumper which looks to be a weak point.

And driving the rig like I stole it, ended with a worn and torn tire

So it was time to bring out the Bronco ...

... and hit some rocks.

No breakages or damage on the Bronco. Definitely needs heavier shock oil now the warmer weather is here.
