What has rc crawling come too..

Venture Hobbies in Wheeling. The guys there were apologetic but they just couldn't bring themselves to deal with lipos again.

That sucks, are they at least selling them? I alway try and be careful when selling Li-Po's to people who are going to be using them for the first time by warning them about the possible problems and to "babysit" them while they're on the charger.

Kinda late to the party, huh? We're done talking about that.

But, again, can you buy tham at a toy store? KB toys, Toys-R-Us, Walmart, K-mart?

What about ones from Radio Shack? They sell rebadged AE RC18's don't they? Toys or "hobby grade"?

Also... Most of those RC's at those stores come with......(wait for it)..... Tamiya battery connectors!!! Hobby grade connectors!!

I like butter on my toast.

Do you have valid proof of everything you just stated? Sounds like you are a Lipo expert.

I need more beer..... all the byotching on RCC and at my house is making me a drunk. I can't wait to fall asleep tonight, drunk.

Been flying RC for a few years now using lipos. Do a search on the net or go to RCG and do a search on the dangers of Lipo batteries.

Save some of that beer for amature nite (new years eve).

Yeah, but the only time I've bought one from them was for the Micro-T since I was there anyways. If I'm getting a new lipo, its from maxamps. The only reason I even ran into this problem was the whole micro deans thing. Kinda sad when the ignorance of people in the hobby can hurt a LHS when they are already threatened by online shops that have a much larger selection and lower prices.

DEAD serious. Toyo should know this.

Unless he's changed since then. Brads always run Tamiya plugs.

Wow... How many has he melted together :roll:. BENDER, I must say, you are either just plain stupid or have alot of guts to run those crappy Tamiya plugs in a comp. No offence. I wouldn't be caught dead with those things on any of my RC's.

Tell a noob he is one and he will expload!"thumbsup"

Man there is a lot of smoke coming out of this thread.

Look another moron...Suprise....Suprise.....

Actually let me start over. Where you Relating this statement towards someone?

Again everyone is wasting there time, and this time its totally off-topic, kill this thread now. Obviously there not even smart enough to stay on topic.

Now everyone is discussing "lipo-bats, Tamiya, Nylint...Where is this coming from?

Shit, I guess I need to buy an AX-10, Losi tires, become a asshole, pretend like I know everything, and say I came into this "Sport,Hobby" a "EXPERT"
because I have 1 or 4 trucks that cost upwards of $800.

I probably have as much money as a lot of people, but I prefer not to spend all that yet, because R/C crawlin is not of my #1 R/C things to do.

I rather beat the shit out of my T-maxx, instead of crawling all the time. The slow speeds suck after awhile to me.

From now on every new person to the Forum should post in a thread, strictly stating they are "Noobs" and bow to the almighty people that have been doing this for like 4 years.....OMG OMG !!!!!!!

to get optimal performance you MUST run tamiya plugs, only NOOBS dont know that:roll:

....... :flipoff: I had those on my E-Maxx for a while... no joke, after every run I did with some old IB4200's with Tamiya's, I had to use an X-Acto knife to get them apart, just about every time. Then I got pissed and switched all my electric trucks to deans connectors.

BIG difference between a crawler and basher. Unless your running a BIG outrunner,Deans aren't really NEEDED in a crawler. They are a better contector though. I think Brad just runs them cause it works and it's what he's got."thumbsup"

Well see I had to reply later than 5 seconds after he posted it. I have a life and I don't sit on the computer all day, like your self.

Loser,

Even though you can't buy them at a toy store they are still toys, they wont ever be anything more than a toy. Alot of these guys take this crap way to seriously.
