Whats wrong with the Canadians?

My employer in Phoenix offered medical. After paying their contribution, it would of cost me $1200 a month for my wife, son, and myself. There was still an office visit/prescription co-pay, and all procedures had to be pre-approved.

A co-workers wife had to take an emergency trip to the hospital one night (with a history of heart problems), and because he didn't call the insurance company before he called 911, they stuck him with the entire bill. Fawk that.

thats a pretty shitty sytem it sux for sure..i recall sometime back when donations were being collected for briansbodies i think..i did help out..thats the canadian way

Yes it does suck, but that's the exception not the rule.

If you want to talk charitable contributions. I think the US has that covered as well, it's definetly the AMERICAN WAY! But if we mention it, we're boasting.

I'm sick of everyone and everything being blamed on the US.

The median wait time in Canada to see a special physician is a little over four weeks! Sure hope you're still around 4 weeks from now.:shock:

it depends..i waited about 5 weeks to see my eye surgeon..in critical case its not the same wait..but as i said its not perfect..and if we so desire there are private clinics where you can get your mri or whatever right away for a fee the same as you guys..and the cost is less

i guess if its said alot it gets believed but the times and the world have changed..and like i said my comment isnt a knockat my american friends or individual people its more about the dangerous policies of the govt there past and present..i dont believe either party is a friend of the people and either one is or will be steering you guys into a worse situation in the world with both economics and forien policy
