After paying their contribution, it would of cost me $1200 a month for my wife, son, and myself. There was still an office visit/prescription co-pay, and all procedures had to be pre-approved.
A co-workers wife had to take an emergency trip to the hospital one night (with a history of heart problems), and because he didn't call the insurance company before he called 911, they stuck him with the entire bill. Fawk that.
