Lots of French people in New Brunswick...8)
Yep, you're in Acadian country here in NB lol, where I'm at in Moncton, we're the only bilingual city in the province. I'm not "officially" french, but my father and his family is so I've been around french people a while, just get some beers into them and they're the funniest people you know (especially one of my uncles lol).ya i guess there are more francaphones in the east ouside quebec i know i never hear it spoken much here but i know lots of french people"thumbsup"
As for the whole US vs. Canada thing. Yep, we have our differences, we have our similarities. In the end though, I feel blessed to have a "foreign country" that's so easy to visit, relatively safe, and has a lot of folks I consider to be good people and good friends living there "thumbsup" To me, life's too short to argue about politics, war, religion, etc. I'd rather just sit down over a beer and BS about other things, and enjoy the freedoms we have to do so.

The US could learn a few things from the Canadians about how to keep a economy healthy in bad times, and that's for sure.
