I was curious to see if anybody else is watching the inauguration today? Politics aside, I have never watched something like this before. Mostly because I am usually working. It's interesting to see all the security and collection of people. What are your thoughts and lets please keep politics out of this.

Naa im not, I could care less of it. And osama

I agree. However, I am currently out of work and we home school our kids. Since this is our first black president, my wife thinks it is good for the kids to watch. Trust me, I would rather be working than watching this.

Just another day at work here.

Hopefully everyone else will watch it and make my phone call volume light.

I work near D.C., and I've heard all the hype for months now. I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would even think about trying to go downtown today. Watch that crap on TV.

With the intensely high level of security this time, you'd think we'd never inaugurated a president before. If security is honestly that big of a concern, and the economy in the frickin' toilet, hold the event in a secure location with only the neccesary functionaries present, and televise it for everyone to watch. And save God only knows how much money on all this security...

Im at Taco Bell bumming off their wi-fi, they have it on. They announced everyone by their respective names, first, middle and last. Except Obama's! haha i guess Barack Hussein Obama was too much of an eye opener so they just said "Barack H Obama".

Heaven help us...

They said on the news this morning that it's costing us $40-$45 million dollars for protecting this 3 ring circus:roll:
That money could have been better spent.....
And no, count me among those not wasting my time watching that BS.....

I totally agree.

On a side note; Wow, what a prayer! If this administration and government could even live up to half of that, what a better place this could be.

That's a awful lot of money to spend protecting someone that most the country seems to hate.

They should have just held it Hooters. At least they could have got chicken wings there.:lol:
