Wisconsin rigs

Got the P.L. tuber cleaned up and some new skins made. Did some green ones, didn't like 'em much though. I think I like the white ones pretty well.

kinda looks like Frankenstein.

And I had to be like the kooool kids so I added rear steer.

Nice! "thumbsup" I was wondering what you were up to. How's your rear steer set up, 3P switch?

Mine is still unskinned, looking for some options for the hood area.

I just about have all the parts to put my Jeep back together. After xmas I will order a set of Pitbulls and maybe a 2 speed, MAYBE! The rear steer is on a three pos switch, way easier to operate.

Pitbulls, yes.

2 Speed, hell yes! :mrgreen::mrgreen:

If you subtract the cost of a complete Axial trans that it replaces, it's not that much (that's how I justify it!).

Here is how I justify...

1. I want it (I might get it if I have some extra cash)

2. I really want it (I'll buy it if the kool kids are getting them)

3. I gotta have it (Steel money from old lady on the street)

I have already rebuilt the trans in the Jeep so we'll see what happens. Since I am in between 1 & 2 already.

So, after trying a few "brainfart concept" rigs which didn't work out like I wanted/planned I've decided to focus on the '57 truggy. This one really gets my motor runnin'! I shortened the Boyer chassis upfront, working on brackets to raise the stock bumper for a good approach angle, got the cab trimmed and holes cut for the big round Axial light buckets in the stock location. All in all, it's lookin' pretty sweet (pics at some point). Got some Pitbulls and another 2 speed (obsession?) on the wishlist...but what about wheels? I can't decide what I want! Gearhead? Vanquish? TSS? What would you get?

Oh, and these lightbars are just frikkin' SWEET!

Well I was gonna put pics up of the tire chains I just built for the wraith but phone is not working with me at this moment. I will try to post them again and gonna post on the wraith thread.

Go old school troy find some classic style rims thats my .02 cents

Yes sir, cut up Monster cans, and they wrinkle up nicely too. "thumbsup"

Well im gonna take my wraith in the scaler direction and after chopping the chassis im gonna need some new body panels and I like ur monster can idea and its cool to hear it dents and wrinkles just like the real thing lol

I like the top righthand pic, GearheadRC slotted mag style. Classic hotrod wheels 8). Either that or something with more of a hardcore offroader look.

I think the gear heads would look nice if uvwere going with a dark color for the body but I like a cromed out classic also lol

I've been looking for a new set of wheels myself and those look pretty good. Like Bigred said it all depends on the color you pick."thumbsup"

Then I would go for the silver wheel, but that's just me. build it the way you like and screw everyone else:mrgreen:
