wraith esc no throttle problems

ive seen other threads with this problem but none of um seemed to help

so here my problem i was doing some minor crawling with my rtr axial wraith all stock running nimh battery 3000mah fully charged

so while i was crawling i had a call and was talking on my phone for like 5 min and my wraith was just sitting on some rocks while i was talking and after i was done went to play and no throttle but steering works fine.

so i turned it on and off no dice
removed the battery charged it again still doesn't work brand new battery also
i let it sit for a while still no bueno
didn't get wet or anything
so took it apart checked all the connections on the esc motor battery receiver still nothing but steering works fine
tried binding again playing with the switches still nothing
so then i tried to recalibrate it then i noticed that when i turn it on there is no second set of beeps nothing so i tried again esc turns on beeps first time light turn red then green but still no second beeps so i turn it off again hold down the trigger on the remote and still no second set of beeps cant even calibrate it at all
also i checked the receiver to make sure it working on another rc and it works fine

so does anyone have any idea of whats going on? or did anybody experience the same problem?

or is it a manufactures defect or something?

any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

I had a similar issue with the stock speed control in a wraith. Went to the lhs, they called axial and axial is sending a new one out. They didn't even want the old one back. It was a month old with only two full packs through it. Excellent customer service.

I have the same problem but mine wont even do the multi-tone and i noticed that the orange/red light on the esc blinks in the tone of the multi tone and after that when i press the throttle the green light goes on like normal but the wraith doesnt move or make the usual sound it makes when i push the throttle, its fully stock running a duratrax 5000 mah nimh battery, i had it for about two months.

it proably a bad connection or just a bad motor. mine had same problem until i droped a new motor into it and worked right away
