XR10 Front motor spins before rear

Hello everyone. I just finished building my XR10 and took it out on the rocks 2 different times with the same problem. If i pull on the trigger just so that the tires start to spin, the front always spins before the rear. Once I give it just a little more throttle the rear starts to spin. I have same pinion on both motors and I am using the 4PL radio. I cant figure this one out...

Things I have tried:

- Reset and programmed both fxr's to the same settings. One of the fxr's is older then the other(Maybe 1-3 years older) would this have any effect? (I am not using HOTWIRE)
- Tried to get both pinions meshed the same on the gears so one is not tighter/looser then the other.
- One last thing that could cause a problem maybe? I have two 45T Tekin motors, however the front motor is the older style and the rear is the new "Heavy Duty" edition, BUT yes both are 45T.

Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!

Thanks

Those are MUCH different motors.....the HD units use Fb9 magnets. I am not sure on the armature style they use, but the new machine wounds are a much better motor than the old ones. It's not surprising the front is out pulling the rear....

Thank you EddieO,

I'll switch out the front motor and see how that goes.

with ur Futaba 4PL u can program overdrive and underdrive.
so if ur front moves a bit faster try underdrive.

until you buy a hd 45 for both axels
