Xr10 motor skid plates

Looking to build a set of motor skid plates if anyone has any ideas or has done it before let me know. Thanks!

Search winnerone23 ( Troy) and get some of his sweet carbon fiber motor guards!!
Tight fit and great for the job! You won't be disappointed !!

Thanks for the good word Kenny...
That's ridiculous how the CF and the green simply POP each other for color!

Awaiting material for the next batch of motor guards. Pm me to get in for some. Thanks

CF is a good vendor for one type of motor protector.
BWD did a nice one, not sure if they're still available.
Some people have used:
-35mm film canister
-pill bottles
-thin Delrin sheet wrapped around the motor and held on with double stick tape.
-other methods

Have to agree here as well, got me a set of the guards and I love them. Esp the idea of being able to take them off without pulling the motor as with the delrin based ones out there.

Yup have used most of the methods mentioned as well. I have found some plastic pipe wrap used for covering insulated pipes and it works well too.
