1" diameter container snap fits into place although I might hit one end with a thin strip of servo tape.

Couple of minutes on the bandsaw? You need to change your blade:lmao:

Good job bro, I use 5hr energy bottles

Nice...just what I needed...a little more orange to replace the white skids I have now...THANKS!

I'm glad some of you found the suggestion helpful!

Truer than you know :) Okay, so it took about 30 seconds on the bandsaw and 90 seconds of pulling the melted plastic off the edges and cleaning them up a bit "thumbsup"

Everyone needs a little more orange...

They look good, though you may want to extend it out a little further to protect the endbell "thumbsup"

That's a really good idea! I made the first one a little wider but on my current motors I have the motor wires coming off the tabs at 90 degrees so they hit cover. I have new motors coming and I'll solder the wires up a little better so I have more room and can protect the endbells next time.

Trim a little cut out where the wires are then you can solder the wires any way you want!

here is the endbell cap on my CO motor guard\battery mount as example "thumbsup"

Nice!! Good thing I have a few spare pill bottles laying around :)

Been using the meds bottles for a long while now(In fact I posted this tip in another thread several weeks ago), And I leave the bottoms on the bottle to protect the end bell and brush hood. The one thing I did find is that unless you cut open the vents in motor can, your motors life will be shortened by this method(I know, been there)

So the point is,,, If you run ANY motor skid be sure the motor vents are open and free to circulate air to allow cooling and evacuate metal/copper/carbon particles,,,,,,

Dang, I should have known I wouldn't come up with anything original. I was just walking around the house trying to find something the right diameter :)

Thanks for the tip on the venting!
