zeko's Secret Agent 3.5

Hey Zeke Congrads mate. At end of the day you drove well and didnt make mistakes some of us made so you deserved to be there as much as the other 4 drivers. If you look at the scores per course there wasnt alot in it. Im kicking myself for a mistake on Pro 3 that i think cost me a position in the top 5, but all credit to you and your driving mate "thumbsup"

Thanks OB, it was great to finally put a face to the name and it was great to meet you. The scores were very close.... I will definitely be back down next year.. Maybe all you NSW folks should come up to the sunshine state:mrgreen:.. (QUEENSLANDER):lmao::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Man, I gotta get out to Australia to crawl with you guys. The crawling scene here in the Philippines is dead. Scale crawling is alive and well though. But I really prefer the challenges of rock crawling. Gotta check how much plane tickets are.

Anyways, Zeko, do those Dlux wheels require gluing also or are they press fit?

We have alot of different crawling spots in Australia, across many states.

As for the wheels, all the information is here on tho link. No glue its just like a regular headlock wheel..

Cheers Fella's. There's a few things i want to change, but ill do them more towards the end of the year. So it will be ready for next year and so i have practice time with it before 2013 season kicks off. Maybe:mrgreen:

Some more video from slaughter falls.

Decided to change my foams to 5.5DD hard inner, soft outer, memory tuning ring for the front and for the rear i used hard inner with medium outer. It drove so much better than the 5.25''DD MED inner/ MED outer. Might have to get some new DD foams8) .

You got that working well Zeke, wish i could get out and do some tuning, unfortunatly just to busy with work and family. Was that a comp or a social run?

I haven't had any real time to tune after nationals, its either been raining or I've had pre committed plans and now with job promotion, i haven't had much time to go after work. I think i have only driven 4 time since then. My rig is tuned pretty well to my driving style but my driving has slipped a little since i haven't had time to focus on it so i need to get my arse into gear again. Lucky i was focused for Nationals.

It was the last QLD canz comp.

Bit of an update,

I've gone back to plastic rear lockouts, for more weight saving of 10grams. I also made some new motor/pinion covers out of 1mm CF and i also cut down my vp knuckle weight a bit more. I also moved the servo more towards the centre of the front diff so my tire will stop scrubbing on the servo.

Also got a another new addition to my crawler which is YTC carbon fibre wheels, which are just awesome. I've also got some nordic crawler weights coming with the steering kit and some wraith knuckles.

The current weight is exactly 4.5lbs/ 2041grams. Hopefully i get some footage in the next day or two.

Im currently placing 2nd in the Canz QLD series and only 10pts separate first and second and with only two comps to go, it can go in any direction. I still haven't managed to place 1st in a comp since the start of the year but I've been consistent by placing 2nd/3rd all year. Lets hope my battery doesn't drop a cell like at the last comp..

Had a comp today and What a day... 1st course, 1st gate, I snapped the shock tower in half on the left hand side, both the chassis and the extender.. But i soldiered on and managed to finish the the rest of the first course... once i finished the course, out came a bunch of zip ties to hold the shock in place to finish the rest of the day. I managed to pull 3rd..

Quick Pick of my handy work.. I think there was about 7 zip ties to hold it in place.
