Getting bored waiting for paint to dry.
Shot PS-48 on the bottom half and killing bruce err time before backing it up with PS-5.

Gonna glue those thigh steaks to bruce so he looks a little better insitue.

Should have body painted by end of day.

Thx traildawg

No I put it in front of a fan for half hour between coats.

Almost done painting. Shot the blue a couple times. Still need to back the PS-59 with black and peel the outer film and I should be done.

Turned out ok. That PS-48 is kinda of a pain to spray.

Waiting on lights and rims to arrive.

Got my electronics up and running today. Took a bit to figure out how to bind my new rx to TX but once I figured that out it went smooth.

Need to plug into my castle link when I get home to fine tune my mamba x.

This thing has got some zip on 3s and stock pinion, think I need to drop a few teeth.

Looks really nice. I think the front end looks better with the turn signal lights. Great job!

I'm going to open the stock pieces middle section, paint it silver and add stainless steel mesh to scout it up some more. I'll add the radiator once I'm done if it can still be seen thru the mesh.

i agree its not that attractive a look. my dads scout did have a chrome mesh grill with only the international emblem (the long all caps rectangular red logo).

this material is actually perforated aluminum, I may try to burnish and buff another piece and try again.

Having a tough time deciding which I like more, between the black grill and the painted one with the mesh. I really like that it matches your dads 1:1, an emblem could tie the room together, and break up all that silver.

Got my sister recruited to make some 1/10 scale IH logo decals so should have a grill badge soon.

Spent the afternoon chopping up my rc lighthouse LEDs, installing them in the body, tying them in with my signal lights dash lights and CB light. Used a load of shrink tube.
