10th is what I heard. I'm not sure how Wes (BigTex) finished. Jason P. (slowrockr) ended up 23rd, as he stated.

I'm just glad that after being "helped" off the course by the track hoe, we were able to get the rig patched back together and made our next run. Cracked the engine block, sheered a high steer arm off, and tweaked the chassis pretty good. New high steer arm, drain engine coolant for no leaks and go racing

That's the rear of it.

It's what you call committed from the bottom of the hill going up. He hit the top section full wood and came down with a smash. Lots of rigs died today on that same section.

Took a nasty tumble in what was named the spider hole. It bent one of the main chassis tubes pretty good, which pulled on alot of other tubes. I've been kickin around the idea of a new chassis for next year, this just sorta made my mind up for me. I'll get some carnage pics up later

Just woke up and I tell you what. These were the roughest coarses I have ever driven. I have never been this soar after a race. I now one thing it is time to switch to a full face helmet. There were some hard spots and some high speed sections.

I ran coarse #1 I droped in thinking just get the car to the exit gate. Cleared the first double with out a problem one shotted the first climb made the hard right hand turn and dropped down to the mini grand canyon. Going in the plan was to side hill through it. BUt that didn't go to plan I ended up having to back out and try to stradle the crack when the car started to lay over on to the drivers side. I had to revert back to my UROC days and calm my self down and think. I started to front dig to the drivers side witch righted the buggy and we were off. Then it was off to the next big vert. Took me two trys to get up then one more left turn and down the 7 foot wall and I was back on the throtle. The next down section had two step downs each step was about 2 foot down and 10 feet long. Well I came in to fast and cleard the first step noiseing in on the second witch stopped the car dead in its tracks and killed the motor. It started right back up and we finished the coarse in 2:41.

Jason ran coarse #2. The toughest coarse of the event. I will let him chime in on the in the car action. I didn't see much of the run except for the nascar burm and the poison spyder spyder hole. We were looking good on the exit of the whole when the car took a weird bounce and the left rear tire walked under a under cut and turned the car right on to its lid. I was telling Jason to drive out of it. It rely looked like it should come around. But it didn't.

I was back in the seat for coarse #3. Witch is coarse #1 back words with on thing added a 30 foot step up jump. I watched Picket make it and a few other guys as well. I rely wanted to make up some time so I got it in my head I was going for it. I came out of the start gate grabed high gear and was on my way. as I aprocthed the take off I thought I was going to ave the speed needed then I hit the rev limiter and had to go for plan b (hit the brakes and go around). I hit the first vert and it denied me At this point I was just frustrated I don't know how long it took me to get up the climb but it seem like for ever. and we were back on the go. I don't remember much from there except jason yelling go go go we are almost out of time. We did finish but barely. Finish time was 4:40 I think.

Coarse #4 was me again. we desided to not take the jump and take the bypass. Jason watched the few before us and told me you don't need to lift on the bypass just hammer down and don't lift till you hit the top. So I dropped in grabed second and we were off. As I aprotched the bypass I didn't lift and ended air born. I had to lift to get the car back on the ground. We ran this coarse just plain awsome one shoted every thing and finished with one of the fastest times of the day. 2:19

All in all it was a great event and an awsome way to end our season.

Aaron

Yesterday was a ton of fun. With a crawlin' comp today I haven't had a chance to make it through the photos I took, but here is one to start.

The race was awesome!!!
It was awesome watching you guys run. I had a blast, except for the sandblasting throughout the whole afternoon. My left eye is still bloodshot from so much sand getting in it.
