check rcmart.com in HK. thats where I've bought mine. they are for the M chassis touring cars. they are often out of stock though.

I am selling my set, identical to his but painted black. I reduced Eddie's tires for him too.

Gear mesh seems fine. Maybe and esc short, but what would just cause it to burn out like that. ESC sending to much juice to the motor? I guess Ill have to borrow a stock esc and see what happens. Though I need anew motor now too:-(

Bob,
If you want to borrow the electrics out of the XJ lemme know I am thinking maybe it is the ESC, maybe something to do with the drag brake?? If the mesh is good on the spur/pinion and there is no other bind in the drive train its gotta be I would think.

OK a small update. Until I get a new esc, I have just been tinkering with this one. Not much free time these days but I did install the wheel wideners. I also plan on finishing off the rear (wheel wells and rear interior).

A few pics with the new wider stance. The 2 minutes I wheeled it before I burned out the motor, it handles much better. A LOT LESS rolling over.

Well I am so glad that I didnt sell this Sammy. I wheeled it today with 1badjeepbruiser and his sammy. Since the last time I used it I had some esc/motor issues. The old esc was going haywire and burning out my motors. Well now with the new esc and a Holmes Hobbies torquemaster mini motor (SCREAMS!!) this rig was back in action and pretty much unstoppable!

Unfortunately I didnt get any action pics but I got 2 of the Sammy's side by side.

More wheelin hopefully tomorrow and some action pics.

ps. Mike if you have and good shots feel free to post.

Thanks guys. The old rear bumper kept getting caught up so I swapped it out for this more simple one.

It came in bare aluminum but I painted it flat black

Thanks. Good luck with your Sammy. No I didnt shorten in at all.

Check out this build if you have not already. I used a different chassis all together. Just another option for ya.
