The Bruiser is a truck that was made by Tamiya back n the 80's. If you search eBay you can sometimes find the shocks for sale. I painted them yellow and added the Monroe sticker.

No springs in the shocks. Just the leaf springs.

Got the YJ painted up. I went with Tamiya Deep MetallicA Blue, with Tamiya Light Sand for the top and flat black for the fenders. I hit the diamond with Tamiya Gunmetal to have them stand out a bit. I also used Gunmetal on the hood and door latches.

I am detailing the 1.55 wheels so I slapped on what I had for the body on pics.

I painted the 5 lug classics Gunmetal too. They came out nice. Started an interior, not nearly done but added some details and a snorkel too. I took it for its first run with the 1.9 trail docs and it did well. Flexes out like a 1.1 YJ LOL

Simple interior

Hybrid driver. Part Wild Willy part Air Hogs

Big meaty tires!!

Radiator

I took it for a test drive but I am short one 1.55 wheel so I had to throw 1.9's on. I had adjusted the suspension slightly and it really wheels like a 1.1 leafed YJ LOL

Thanks guys! I am definitely going with the stompers. I was just missing a wheel. 4 1.9's are better than 3 1.55's for test drive purposes!

Ok so after all the body work I did on this Jeep, I totally forgot that dimple on the Tamiya YJ roof. So I patched it up and re sprayed the roof.

I also finished the other wheels and took it for a spin with the 1.55 Stompers. Those are some big meats!!!
