Default Blukon's crew clod

Ive been contemplating a crew cab clod for a while now. After lots of research I ordered two bodies and started working. I tried cutting with thread and it was just too difficult for me. I cut both cabs from the beds and I said the he** with it and went and bought a dremel. My plastruct glue came in the same day as my bodies, but I'm still waiting for my order of styrene.

Here's where I started

Mock-up of both cabs

Getting there

Close enough

Filled in the scoop with itself since I have no styrene yet

They are practically a dime a dozen now but im a sucker for crew cabs and chevys. It's pretty painstaking but not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I can't decide on if I want to stretch my scx10 chassis or build one... then I can't decide on axles but I know I want to run leaf springs so maybe a rc bros kit and axial axles. I've got some plastic trex 60 housings but Idk yet. What do ya'll think about it so far? Any tips or tricks from the vets? Thanks for checking it out so far guys. More to come later

Thanks guys, I've been busting ass trying to get the cab as close to filled as possible so I can move onto the bed. If it looks half as good as some of these other builds ill be happy with it

Quick update finished filling seams. Just gotta pick up some light filler for the small stuff

Still got some filling to do but its getting there. I'm still trying to decide on the rest of the build...

Almost forgot, I worked on the back of the cab but I'm less with pleased with how it turned out...

"roflmao" its a change in scenery from gmfs, not as much trash talk but a lotta cool stuff to look at

Couple updates... redid the back of the cab

Put the hood line on

Got it mostly slicked out

Shot on a coat of primer to show my goof ups

Still haven't figured out the details but I'm about to start on the drop bed. I haven't decided on whether to stretch the scx10 chassis or make my own but I know I want to run leaf springs. After that I'm still clueless...
