ok well as of right now. i am going to tube a truggy style bed... i guess for lack of better words. i dont want to extend the tubes into the cab. just cab back. atleast for now.

what traxxas shaft setup do i need for extended driveshafts? searching with no luck will continue to search!

You need the basic. Traxxas TRA1951 Half Shafts You need one of these packages to make each longer driveshaft. You also need the yokes. Regular ones are white plastic, or some come black plastic. I recommend using the steel yokes though. They're about $18 a pair though. You take one of the male half-shafts, cut the universal joint off (where the yoke attaches) and glue it into a female (CA is fine). This gives you a longer male. Now take the other female and use it with the longer male as your extended driveshaft. Ends up looking like this one: |

awesome thanks. i found it in another post too. Again searching for a way to frame mount the steering servo. just have to run to the hardware store tomorrow and hobbytown and i should have it rolling and driving!
