YIPPI SKIPPY!!! got my package today from rc4wd.....OMG the 1.55 wheels are figgin adorable and tiny as shi*. I love them. so I had a guy that I was going to buy some k44s but after measureing they were yet to give me the width I needed. So this build is taking a turn for the funky.

I really want like a stock-ish height chevy and when I mounted the wheels on the little axles I got happy. Now it just so happens that these axles are loaded and I think they do well with some LOw nad Slow action. I am pretty happy.

I know this build process will present its challenges as well as repairs more then likely but I can manage. This will not be a rock racer. Just a cooool little cruiser, light crawler/trail action rig.

I do need help. Everyone know that the rod ends are smaller on these rigs, and I need ref to some all thread or solution for making much longer links. Help a brotha out and I will start the research.

on with the pics....

MMMMMmmmmm good

I hate the way the front fascia looks so far with its flat nose and 80s chrome 4x4x4.... but you can see the "tuck-able" width. Yup!!

cool...I will look at what I have and sanding them down. I really havent had time to look it over. I know that the eyes are small on the MRC rod ends. I will figure out something. I already have a mongoose brushless kit that I am curious to see one if it slow enough on 2s and whether or not. I cant wait to get at it. I will post my results.

That is what I said. This isnt going to much a crawler with such little clearance, but I was hoping to be a little different. I know one thing, the roll-overs are going to be cool. I am going to start links tonight.

Thank you for the compliments guys...trying to stay motivated. These wheels were just playing but got some more body work done. I need hinges and I will be adding quite a bit more to the tool box. I had fun with it today hope it looks like it has progressed.

cut out wheel wheels...

Kinda a biotch...had to notch my toolbox interior for the friggin "always in the way" axial spur gear.

Here is a good shot of the green love put on and the tool box progress

I thought the lid looked too thick....just took about 3-4 mm off all around to make look less chunky.
