HAHA, yep it gets hot. The fan doesnt weigh much and has pretty good airflow. Not sure how much it draws

Just read this entire thread. By far my favorite EB build on here. Had a few 1:1's myself and want to do a scale build. Truly fantastic!

So, what is the correct wheelbase for the tamyia body? I have an SCX10 frame sitting here and reading your and loneranger's build threads have sparked my interest again. I don't have anything expect the frame tranny and a brushless motor I traded for some diesel parts I didn't need. What's my first step to try and follow in your footsteps so to speak?

I actually printed out the blueprint for the frame and resized it to fit the body, right now my wb as a hair over 9 5/8". Been a while since I updated this thing, installed the factor 55 prolink. Also ordered up the new warn winch but it wouldnt fit my bumper, so I gutted it and transferd the guts to the old winch. Took it out in the fresh snow fall today, pretty sad for alaska only 1/2" |

A winch thimble was part of your "upgrade"? Isn't that more like an "add on"? lol We need more pics of this thing in action. Thanks for the winch case! L.R. |

I guess its been a while since I've posted anything, got it out for a couple battery packs this weekend. Rolled it down some rocks and broke off the front body mounts Pictures are crappy because I used my phone instead of the camera. |

Its been a while since I've messed with this thing, ordered some of rc4wd new m1.6 scale bolts. Installed them on my diff covers, it made a big difference in the looks of the axles. I tried getting some pictures but the bolts always showed up fuzzy. I'll try again today in the daylight.

looks good! If anyone was going to run scx axles under the tamiya body I would at this point HIGHLY recommend the shapeways scx axles. they are much narrower and will tuck the tires nicely under the tamiya body. (build #4 on my "to do" list) L.R. |
