Hey AkFordfan I have a couple questions because I'm trying to fab my first r/c. 1. If you are still using your k44 axles, how do you like them, i was thinking of purchasing them due to there narrow width w/o mods. 2. are you using the pro-line bronco or the hpi bronco or something else. knowing the would be great so i have some reference for the k44 axle width. (I"m a lil gun shy with the price of those axles) That being said and those questions asked I must add that, that is one cool home built rig.

p.s. i know i are newb but where did you get those jack stands?

Thanks, So far I like the front axle and still waiting on money for the rear. The body is actually from Tamiya and I think looks better then the others by far. as for the jack stands I think they came from krawler concepts in the vendors section

Cool thanks for the info. I'm not planing on using a bronco body (gonna stay in the blue oval tho) but now I can get a width reference as compared to your tires. Those k44's are kinda nuts expensive but look sooo sweet with the ARB covers.

You have my 2 favorite scale items in your arsenal. The wheels and axles!

Thanks, I just wish the center of the wheels had five lugs or even eight lugs

Really cool dude. Like the jack stands. Need to get some of those for my build now. The armor is looking good on the diff. I want to figure out how to do something awesome like that.

Keep it up and send us some pics!

Ok, got a little sidetracked after the rear axle showed up now just waiting on my rear 4-link bracket to get here. Heres the start of my interior.

Looking good! Like the old school warn winch.

what gauge is the sheet metal you are using for the winch plate?

How thick is the styrene you are using for the tub? And other size too if different?
