Default First Gen 1.5 Tamiya Pajero: Project Spanky

So this is a body that I picked up from eBay, shipped from China. I haven't seen or come across any builds on here but I am sure I am not the first.

I will be doing a tuber with 1.5 steelies and I thought I had the tires figured out but I might be mistaken now that I have the body. I was really taking a shot in the dark on his one.....I see a lot of cutting in my future, plus a new zacto kit to use.

I think it looks a LOT like a zuk or a tracker. Cool looking little rig. I'm pretty excited. I have another set of MRC axles but I want something that is ready for a beating.

I am in very early brainstorming phase but I wanted to share. The chassis is a old Reign Labs proto....probably won't work either. Lol.

Mine is going to be a bit more extreme to make it a usable wheelbase of of about /10.5 inches. I am interested to hear your thoughts.

I've thought about doing one of those. Keep it short. I run a Radio shack Bronco and at just under 9 inches the wheelbase makes for one hell of a fun and challenging rig. Either way good for you- I'll be watching to see how this comes out.

I have an og pajero based on the tamiya lunch box/midnight pumpkin chassis. I believe tamiya has re-released it as well.

Should be a cool build

Very cool. These are the seats I'm using

New thought. Cutting down Reign chassis to fit and making it a stock wheelbase rig. Mrc axles will be used and more then likely a mrc tranny. RObbing my clod build just to see how some small tires would look. Mmm good.

Just my opinion but I would cut those flares down to at least half what they are now

Looking forward to following this build. Have the a original release body, bought it a little beat up. Hope to build it one day.
Best of luck with your build.
