Default SCX10 Axled Wraith

Ok so this all started with a bee in my bonnet, googled it and dam someone else did it but oh well go ahead anyway.

So i bought a second hand wraith, ripped off the axles stripped it down to the bone and started a build from ground up, cost of this build is quite extensive so we will leave that part out.
Chassis: Axial Wraith
Gearbox: Axial Wraith
Gearing: 87/14
Motor: Axial 20T
Drive shafts: rear Stock wraith front shortened scx10
Links: Front scx10 upper shafts into a 3 link setup Rear stock plastic wraith uppers and G made lowers
Diffs: SCX10 rear (still awaiting straigh parts from customs) front is an AX10 diff but it is exactly the same as the scx10 front.
Wheels: Mickey Thompson 1.55" super soft baja claws
Rims: RC4WD steelies 1.55"
Shocks: Stock wraith shocks
ESC: M-Troniks viper fully waterproof
Servo: TBA stock axial one glitching and causing throttle to jump when steering, tried to repair it but no good.
Body: Jeep Rubi Wrangler
Driver:undertaker lol till i find a better action figure.

I had to shave his crotch area with the dremel to get him into a better sitting position, and then i moved the steering back a little with some nitro tubing so it made it to his hand.

Front trimmed to change appearance

Trimmed some of the rollcage as well still gonna do the rest

Some action shots

So far i am happy with the results, It climbs well has a low COG nice leaning angle great approach front and rear, Still working on the turning angle, its a bit too big for what i want, shocks are being replaced with better aluminium one for a finer shock setup. Motor will be tested but might drop it down to a 27T and well might be fitting some 1.9" on at a later stage

This was supposed to be a sick build but i kinda got frustrated with it due to certain issues so its officially my basher. Considering building a second one with all the extras i was planning to put into this one...

I would think it would be in SORCCA Class 2.

I would try to some scx10 shocks and lower her about a inch. Preferrably the proline powerstrokes to have adjustability. If you want to stay big bore for weight go slash powerstrokes front shocks. The will cycle like no other. Good looking build. Just an opinion. Enjoy

noted man thanks for the advice, problem is servo is mounted on the diff so no clearance if i go lower, considering chassis mounted servo but need to order the part from the US and well finances are low at the moment busy bullding 5 rigs. Still need to order better servos for all of them first. Will definately look at the powerstrokes and thanks for the class info I am trying to keep my rigs all class 1 and 2 hopefully this is withing boundries, Not that it matters in SA but oneday we might be able to host full comps and run full classes, Right now its 1.9 and 2.2 and 2.2 comp

Had to look at the thread, seeing "Wraith" in the 1.55 section.
Great looking setup!

X2 on the slightly lower ride height.
Could go with some internal springs set in +/-50/50 droop.

as the cash flow gets better i will order the chassis mount for the servo and go lower for now will have to stay high...
If I go chassis mount would i have to do a panhard bar with my 3 link setup, I am a little confused about that, i read that you dont but then i read guys doing it, anyone know better lol

In my opinion you should run a panhard and a 3 link when you mount the servo to the chassis. I used it on my 1.9 SCX axled Wraith and it's the way to go.
