Default 1.55's on a Trail Honcho

Does anyone have pictures of some 1.55's on the stock Trail Honcho body? I'd love to see some pics. Thanks.

What I want to do is put the white stamped steel wheels with IROKs on one, but I want to see how it would look first.

i will this evening if nobody comes up with em first. got me a used honcho yesterday and didn't have time to get em on last nite. got 1.5 spokes with rc4wd desert kings to begin with, probably going to put rockstompers on it to see if i like em better.

This would look a lot better with the body lowered.

To the OP have a look in the 1.5 section I'm sure you'll find what your looking for there.

heres a shot of it with 1.5 rockstompers on it. looks much better than the desert kings, i also lowered the body a bit as greenjk suggested. might lower it a bit more later just to see how i like it

Looks like it has a body lift. Bring it down to the sliders or raise the rock sliders and lower it all as a whole. 1st post WOO.

there's 6 more holes on the front body posts I can still lower it but on the rear, the bottom of the cage is already resting on the frame rails.

pathfinder, that is a nice rig

Thanks for the pics, Guys. Your rigs look awesome. I love the look of the smaller wheels, it looks more scale to me. From what I've read, the tires don't really get smaller in the outter diameter when you go to 1.55's, right? After unboxing my new SCX10 and playing with it last night, I don't think I want to go any smaller with the tires.

BillyBob, yours look a lot better now.

Check out this chart for some specs all in one place. Scale Tire Size Charts...

I think 1.55" give the best look for most 1/10th scale bodies. Check out the picture thread in the 1.55 section and you'll see what I am talking about.

thanks speed, when i got it, it had a set of huge fugly 2.2s on it. you can see where they trimed the back of the wheel well for em. lowered the body 4 holes worth last nite. now gotta cut up and refab the rear cage to lower the rear of it. I agree with you though, looks MUCH better now. you can get some pretty tall 1.5 tires should you decide to go with a smaller wheel. rc4wd has em up to 4.5inches tall

szczebra, thanks for the link!

Thanks for the chart. Looks like the 1.55 IROKs are are a little bigger than the stock 1.9 ripsaws. Awesome!
