|  Pitbull 1.55 Growler A/T Foams?
So I ordered up a set of the 1.55 Growlers for my TF2 but to my surprise when I received the set from CKRC the foams although I guess you can call them dual stage look nothing like the advertised dual stage foams. The ones I received were all gray. Soft outers and firm inners. Colors are different I'm just wondering why. Has anyone else received theirs with nothing but 4 gray foams instead of their advertised greenish looking outers? |

I got the grey ones too. I assume the green ones you're referring to are prototypes that were given to Team drivers to test.

Ahh I see...haven't even mounted them to any 1.55 beadlocks yet but I have read that the new bead design holds with the stock 1.55 rc4wd Steelies? Not a huge fan of the steelies as I already have them in 1.9 and 2.2. Thinking about just getting rid of them in favor of something a bit more scale looking like the T-Runner too bad they don't make them in 1.55 though... Have you tried out the stock grey dual stage foams? |

Haven't tried them yet. I'm waiting for the Crawler Innovations Lil Nova's (closed cell) to come out.  |

Yea that's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation on that. I guess I'll sell the stock tires and foams on here since they're virgin might get something lol...

Mine had the dual grays. I got a set of the CI foams. Softs up front med pit back. SCX-EXO is 5.5lbs RTR. The CI foams will be out early August. Butter smooth mounting on some Gearheads.    Last edited by Szczerba; 07-18-2013 at 11:52 PM. |

That rig is killer! The wheels and tires look right at home with your paint scheme! I'm doing a retro 84-86 look on my TF2 with the SR5 stripes, cherry red and clear coat btw I'm still filling and sanding it for about 20-30 min each night lol. Only two light coats of primer so far.....got a ways to go!
