Default First 1.9 Build

Its TIME, I have been slowly ordering parts to build my FIRST 1.9. WELL ENOUGH PARTS ARE HERE. I can finally start on it. Hopefully the special parts that are on order arrive in time to install them before our comp in July.

As money is TIGHT I am turning my comp rig (which I hardly drive, I usually bring it for a spare) into the scale rig. Using the tranny and axles from it. BUT NO the comp rig ISNT DEAD, just parts cause I want to do a comp rig in the new orange version when they are released, so I will get it going again at that time.

Heres the parts list

AX10 Axles, Trans, and Links from the comp rig
My Sidewinder, 55T Integy, and HS 645MG are taken from my Comp Rig
Tamiya f-350 Hi-Lift Cab
TCS Xtrail Chassis AND PROTOTYPE Delrin Leaf Springs
RC4WD Scale 90mm Shocks
CBP 1500mah 2/3a Brick packs, 6 cell (limited by Club comp rules, will have a 8 cell for it too later)
SCALE WINCH (that I am STILL waiting to arrive)
MIP Slider CVDS (once they are released, I have them on pre-order now)
Aluminum Steering Hubs (all my rigs have these in black, cause the stock ones break too easy)

I also bought 2 set of the Axial Straight Axle Kits for this and the Jeep.

Much of this build is similar to the Jeep, frame mounted servo, same frame and use of Axial parts, ETC.

Heres the pics of the parts which the last of arrived today. Still got more scale accessories I need to get for it as money allows:

I will be gettign the green off after I have figured out all the parts I am going to use that I have to strip. Here's a pic of where i am at so far and of course my winch:

Damn I love that winch. By far the best one on the market. Great looking parts - should be a fun build.

THNX. LONG BUILD,lol. This wil be the first one I am going serious on, my 2.2 rubicon (pics in the 2.2 gallery) look nice, but was rather simple, this time I AM doing the work and trying to go all out. I found about 50% of the fun I have with these is the build.

YES I DO SNIPER, ITS FREAKING AWESOME, THANK YOU!!!

DAMN IT JEFF, if I had known that was retiring, I would have given it a GOOD going away party, lol.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT, FORD WAS MY ONLY OPTION,lol. Once the Hi-lux grille is in stock somewhere again, I WILL DO WHAT I WAS PLANNING, Hi-lux with this set up. Should just be able to switch the body no problem. I do like the looks of the ford grill though.

And Sniper, dont worry, I will still OWN YOU, LOL

Not sure on the leaves yet, havent driven it.

Aight HERE'S A TEASER. FRONT BUMPER DONE. Also, All electrics installed. Looks nuts though, 2 ESCs (yes 2) Sidewinder for Main motor, tazer 12 I had laying around to control the winch as it works best at 7.2v. Also has 3 battery packs installed. Reason being:

1st pack: 4400mah 3.7 Li-ion pack to run the lights, yes for the lights I will be using, it WILL be needed, lol, lights will be BEYOND blinding. Same bulbs as the $80 Eagle rechargable LED flashlight, but instead of 1 of those, I will have 4 mounted a the flashlight uses a 2200mah li-ion cell. also for running and headlights, eliminates need for resistors as the pack is 3.7v

2nd and 3rd: due to space and desire for run time, 2x 2/3A 1500mah 6cell brick packs in parellel for power supply for everythign else. Winch is only equivelent of a high torque servo.

Here is the pic of the bumper, I was going ot paint it read, but since its going to get tore up anyways, darker wont show scratches so easily.

Here is pics of the frame and electrics. Second pic, its HARD to see, but even "Rancho" decals on the shocks, lol.

IS that 3/16" or 1/4" tub you used there? Looks great by the way. I really like the front bumper. I also really like the rear. I also really like the bed. Hell, it is all damn nice.
