Default My yota farmhack

Basically out of the box with all the un-nessacry bits removed. Softened springs and farmhack paint job just the thing to hop in and check the cows. Standard 540, Rooster crawler Spektrum DX6
Alot more to be added to this eventually but im loving it as it is.

Critisism welcome good or bad..

Check out my other crawelrs its been an exspensive and busy past couple of months.

Looks good, I like the "weathered" look. A few thing you could to make the Yota etter would be to lower the bod, install tller tires and do a "tummy tuck" by raising the trans. But I'll be happy if my Hilux turns out as nice a yours.

looks awesome. where the filler panels in the bed? when u go to check the cows, bails of hay will fall right thru!

in my HL i found an r2 tranny will fit perfectly between the frame rails with some small spacers. that would raise it up and get rid of the grab all tranny. also the battery fits nicely lengthwise uner the bed or on the chassis just in front of the tranny. all that is just if u want to lose the belly buldge

Thanks for the comments guys.

The bed will be lowered once I pull it back apart, I was thinking about raising the trans then thought there must be a better way and emaxxjeremy has just solved that mystery for me (Thanks Jeremy)
The filler panel was left out so I could watch the suspension cycle from the top and see how it reacted.
I'm thinking maybe a 4 linked front end might just give it the movement i'm after.
As for the tyres yes they are going for maybe some Trial Dr's or the new Losi range such as the 1/18th 1.9 losi claws ?

Looking good!
Remove the bottom leaf spring mount to get it lower and add Rock stomper tyres to fill the arches.

Love the weathered used look it's the kind of look that gets better with use. Seems a bit on the tall side.

A bit on the tall side ? it's alot on the tall side more like it yep billybob has complained to me that he needs to park it next to a fence to get in and out. Maybe some sliders will help a little along with a healthy dose of the gas axe

Excuse my stupidity here, but do you mean mount the leafs directly to the diffs ? I thought about mounting the diffs on top of the springs but not sure if that will work.

Awesom looking truck by the way, love the stance and colour

Yep,screw to the axle housing to lower it.Softer spring leaf settings will lower it some more too.You dont want the suspension at full stretch anyway.
That body is now mounted on my Trail finder chassis and looks like this:
