i dont think the laquer will work regardless of the time. enamel over laquer is ok, but laquer doesnt stick to anything i have some automotive clear here tho that may work |

Yeah. I shot the Testors stuff over Pactra years ago when I built static models so they didn't see abuse. Let the Pactra cure for 2-3 weeks then shot the clear. I'd guess that the automotive clear would work as long as the underlying coat is allowed to cure well. Here's the Tamiya Copper... |

Metallic blue to match the beadlocks if you keep them would look sweet. Blue candy flames over silver would look sweet too.

paint it a light color... white yellow or blue then black out(tint) the headlights and tail lights... also paint over the grey bumper to mach the body color.. grey bumper = work truck w/vinal floors and seats |

Oh yeah. That looks good. Nice choice. The rock rings and the shocks go really well with the body color. How are you liking the Croppers? I have a set on my Jeep, but I haven't run them yet. |
